Corinne updated her Instagram “What Happened to Jamie Foxx” followers on the status of her father’s health. My father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote, “from the Foxx family. She went on to say, “Fortunately, due to swift action and great care, he is already on the road to recovery. We recognize the depth of your devotion to him and value your prayers. The statement ended with a request for privacy from the family.

While details surrounding the Oscar winner’s hospitalization remain sketchy, we do know that his condition was critical. TMZ reports that sources have confirmed the seriousness of Jamie Foxx’s condition, prompting his loved ones to travel to be with him in the hospital.
