Instagram Down: Social Media Platform Restored After Suffering Outage Worldwide

Instagram Down: On Sunday, May 21, Instagram had an outage, prompting users to flood Twitter with inquiries about the status of the social media network.
We are aware that some users are experiencing Instagram access issues. A Meta representative told The Verge, “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
Since then, however, the platform’s problems have been resolved, and users may once again make posts. The Instagram outage did not appear to affect any of the other Meta services, including WhatsApp and Facebook.
On Twitter, Instagram said, “Instagram is back! We experienced a brief outage earlier and have already fixed the problem that caused it.
Users on the iPhone version of Instagram were seeing an outdated feed when they tried to refresh the feed. The app’s status bar announces, “Couldn’t refresh feed.”
Several famous people turned to Twitter to inquire about the problem. “What is wrong with instagram today?” Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta fame once tweeted.
